Estate Sales: Liquidation of Personal Property

Step 1: Free in-home consultation

A walk though assessment of the estate and all items deemed for sale. Don't donate or throw anything away. We will discuss the complete estate sale process, our commission rates, and answer any questions you may have.

Step 2: Set Up & Marketing

We will carefully organize and stage your items for optimal marketing and display.

Photography is taken to showcase your unique items, and ensure maximum marketing exposure to prospective buyers.

Step 3: Pricing & Marketing

We expertly research and price your items according to current and fair market values. 

Helping Hands has access to expert appraisers, with knowledge of art, antiques, fine furnishings, jewelry, high end fashion, diamonds, sculptures, coins, guns and more! Our wide network of appraisers are on hand as needed, at no additional cost. 

We then market and advertise your estate sale through multiple consumer websites, like esatesales.net, estate sales.org, etc. We also use social media leverage to guarantee you, maximum exposer to your sale.

Step 4: Hosting of Sale

Conducted over a span of 2-4 days, depending on the amount of items.

We have instilled systems and processes to mange the sale from start to finish, giving you sales updates & progress along the way. While insuring safety and security of you home.

Step 5: Clean out & Donations

Items that are unsold, typically about 10-15% of the overall inventory, Then are carefully sorted for donation and removal.

After the estate sale or estate clean out, we donate your left over item's to local charities. This is beneficial to your local community as those in need receive furniture, clothing and other items. This also helps our environment as we assist in keeping useful items out of local landfills. You also get to experience the joy that comes from helping others.

Step 6: Inventory & Payment

Receive a detailed inventory of all items sold, along with an itemized sales accounting report. Then a proceeds check will be issued out in 5-7 days after the sale.

Clean Out Service

Helping Hands has cleaned thousands of homes, big and small. We are attentive to your needs and offer a verity of services to fit your situation.

We offer full estate clean outs, partial clean outs (basement, attic, etc.) downsizing and more

Sometimes there may not be enough items left in the home to do an estate sale, so then we can resort to doing just a clean out or removal of leftover unwanted items.

This can also apply to distressed homes, when items in the home may not be sellable.

Professional Cleaning

As the owner and operator of simply fresh and clean, I have 15 years of cleaning experience. Specializing in move in/ move out cleaning.

I offer a full cleaning to our clients, after/ before the estate sale and after all move all clean outs. Leaving the home showcase ready.

Packing and Downsizing

Moving your self is a lot of work, moving a loved one into an assisted living or nursing home is even harder.

We offer packing and downsizing services. To many of our clients and families, who are unable to do the work them self’s.

We help pack and label boxes,  work with you through out this whole process, so your loved one can be surrounded by the items they need and love in there new trans

Setting Up New Households

After everything has been packed and moved, We will help unpack and organize and set up your new space!

We work hand and hand directly with our clients, through every step of packing and un packing along with setting up, to ensure everything is done to your standards. We are also able to do this with no assistance as well. We want to make your transition as easy and stress free as possible.
